When I received a phone call from the Mon tel Williams show asking me to be on their show, I was so excited!  The topic of the show was "Why didn't I think of that?!" which made me wonder.....  who else would be there.  The morning of the taping, I nervously wondered how things would go and if I would make any mistakes.  Montel sent a car to pick me, my sister and my Mom and Dad and off to New York we went!  I was glad the ride was fairly long because it allowed me to finish my homework for the day of school I was missing while taping the Montel Williams show.
 
When we arrived at the Montel Williams studio, the butterflies in my stomach started to flutter all over again.  I just kept thinking... I'll be OK  When Montel introduced me, I received a warm welcome from the audience!  Montel was so caring and genuine, I felt like I was sitting in his family room.  I talked about my line and the latest product  additions to the EDEN family which are the Candle Duets and the Peppermint Tee Tree Hair Milk and Oil.  As a surprise, we gave the entire audience Crystal Light Candles!  What I didn't know is that Montel had a few surprises of his own for me........
 
My first surprise was a harmonica!  Talk about the Cadillac of harmonicas!  This bad boy was amazing with a crisp sound!  Then I received a day at the spa; but the ultimate surprise was two court side seat tickets to a Boston Celtics game.  At the game, I will get to meet and greet my favorite player Paul Pierce!  I am so grateful to have been on the Montel Williams show.  It is an experience I will never forget!

I am excited to announce after much hard work my products are on the shelves in Wal-Mart Stores! It has been a long journey and at times very overwhelming, but with the love and support of my family and friends and the help of everyone here at EDEN BodyWorks we were able to get to this point.     So I submitted an application I got from my mentor Arnie Abrams from NFTE(The National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship) to be the 2007 Entrepreneur of the Year in the category of Operational Business. I WON!! I travel to the Marriott Marquis on April 18th, 2007 to receive my award and also to network with other nominees, winners and entrepreneurs. I saw many of my old classmateS from the BizCamp I attended in 2004. They were continuing to excel in business just as I have.

Did you watch the show? Are you wondering how I got on the show? Are you wondering how they found out about me? Well here is how it began…. Day 1 The producers of the show put out some feelers for show ideas and one of my satisfied customers shared her success with our products and the story of my life. Well Oprah's producers called my mom on Friday, January 19, 2007 and said that Oprah wanted me to be on the show. My mom was with her friend and they both started screaming. "lol" . The sent me a couple of emails requesting information and then called on Saturday, January 20, 2007 the senior producer call me and told me to send them every picture, video and newspaper article that I was ever featured in.
